Working Links Since 2000 Working Links have helped over  240,000 people to change their lives by supporting them into sustainable employment. We work in some of the most deprived areas of Britain to address the challenges faced by people who are long-term unemployed.

 

Supporting People Supporting People services support people to live as independently as possible. Services include supported and sheltered housing, a women’s refuge and ‘community outreach’ where workers visit people in their own homes.

 

Chapter 1  Chapter 1 is a charity which, based on Christian principles, specialises in providing accommodation and support for vulnerable people. We welcome everyone, regardless of their age, faith, culture or social background.

 

S.P.O.T.  Speaking Out in Torbay - Spot is charity run by disabled people for disabled people. Our work involves making easy read leaflets  and symbols for others to use, holding support meetings for people with disabilities, consultation with people to find out what they want, making quality services and more...

 

Torbay Voice  Gives a voice to people who use services and influences the planning of services. Visits services and gathers the views of others. Produces the Torbay Voice Newsletter. Reviews services to see how good they are.

 

Hele Hub  Hele Hub continues to offer training to everyone and in doing so aims to; provide a relaxed and friendly learning atmosphere whilst encouraging each learner to reach his or her own full potential.

 

The Cool House We are an independent charity providing support, information, volunteering opportunities and a range of activities for family, friends and people recovering from or affected by mental health issues. It provides opportunities and space to make changes, to use and develop skills, pursue aspirations and recover a good quality of life.

 

Turn2us  We are a charitable service which helps people access the money available to them – through welfare benefits, grants and other help.
